Employee Experience Intern

National Heritage Academies (NHA) is a charter school management company committed to transforming lives through education. They are seeking an Employee Experience Intern to assist with summer hiring initiatives, pre-hire processes, and engagement initiatives while working alongside a passionate HR team.

Responsibilities

This internship was created to help the NHA Employee Experience team with their summer hiring initiatives and reports directly to the Employee Experience Team Lead
You will be doing impactful work by assisting with the pre-hire process, reviewing background check results to ensure staff and student safety remains a top priority, and assisting with documentation for state audits
While learning about the full-cycle recruitment process, you will also see the post-hire process
You will sit in on a new employee orientation session and work with the team on engagement initiatives
You will also assist with the school start date process and learn about stipend management
Work with a team of energetic and passionate human resource professionals

Required

Working toward a degree in business, human resources, marketing, or another major and you want to try something completely different and exciting!
Enthusiastic and enjoys talking with new employees to get them excited about NHA – we know it is a great place to work and need your help spreading the word!
Ability to use technology to be productive and efficient. Will work in different systems including our human resources system (Oracle), Microsoft Office Suite, state fingerprint databases, CRM, and other online tools
Exhibits a high level of energy and initiative and possesses a strong desire to learn and achieve results
Communicates well one-on-one and in small groups, both verbally and in writing
Achieves results and utilizes resources appropriately – a results-oriented 'go-getter and achiever' who is able to work independently and as a team player
Maintains a high level of organization and time management, while managing multiple tasks
Adapts to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
