They are currently seeking an experienced Senior CADD Specialist to join their Transportation and Infrastructure division, where the role will involve technical leadership and support on multiple public infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs for preliminary and final plan sets using MicroStation and ProjectWise

Work closely with engineering teams to ensure coordinated designs

Apply standard drafting/design principles and theories to complete assignments

Use technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards for the Transportation and infrastructure agencies

Manage project and client-specific CADD and drawing standards and setup guidelines for multi-disciplinary projects

Consult with clients to establish drawing delivery and interface requirements

Perform drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff

Provide ongoing support and direction for project technical personnel

Be proactive and keep up-to-date with the latest CADD and other engineering related programs

Opportunity to supervise junior staff and develop CADD methodology and best practices

Train personnel on the usage of CADD, CADD standards and project collaboration software like ProjectWise and SharePoint

Assist with CAD workload planning

Auditing and enforcement of CADD standards

Organize and maintain a design and CADD digital file database for each project using SharePoint or ProjectWise

Limited travel to project sites or to project-related meetings may be required

Required

Bridge/Transportation design experience

5+ years of experience with Transportation Agencies including but not limited to: New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ)

Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation V8i (desired minimum of 3-5 years)

Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu

Proficiency in Bentley ProjectWise

Self-directed with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Ability to multitask and communicate status and progress effectively

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential documents and information

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Effective communication, organizational and time management skills

Attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and detail oriented

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor's Degree

Experience with engineering, architectural, and construction documents (i.e., maps, drawings, technical specifications, etc.)

Experience in mentoring, coaching and training junior CADD staff

GIS (Geographic Information System) experience is a plus

AutoCAD experience is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Proficiency in Bentley OpenRoads and/or Bentley OpenBridge
