Vice President, Planning and Execution
Fidelity Investments is seeking a Vice President, Planning & Execution to lead strategic initiatives within their Service Delivery & Operations team. This role involves connecting functional strategy to operational execution, ensuring that initiatives are prioritized, planned, and delivered effectively to enhance client experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Own the planning process across Service Delivery & Operations to align functional objectives with Fidelity Charitable and broader enterprise priorities
Translate functional strategy into clear operational plans, performance metrics, and success measures
Lead all aspects of execution of functional initiatives that improve client and associate experiences, operational efficiency, minimize risk, and accelerate digital service capabilities
Drive accountability, risk management, and dependency coordination across teams to ensure timely, quality outcomes
Implement, partnering with Quality Control and Risk functions, governance frameworks that balance agility with compliance and process controls
Partner with stakeholders across the Services and Operations function, Fidelity Charitable, and enterprise functions to ensure transparency, clarity, and alignment on fraud prevention efforts
Provide streamlined executive presentations and synthesized performance reporting to support strategic decision-making
Integrate operational readiness, compliance, and control considerations into initiative planning and delivery partnering with Portfolio Delivery
Anticipate and mitigate risks while maintaining business continuity and client satisfaction
Champion with other teams’ process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to drive scalability and digital & operational maturity
Lead cross-functional associate communication and engagement strategies to ensure alignment, adoption, and momentum through sophisticated change
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
12+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, program management, or operations within large, complex organizations, preferably in financial services
Proven success in leading transformation efforts and operational initiatives from strategy to execution
Deep understanding of operational governance, risk, and planning frameworks within changing environments
Exceptional executive verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on business value and measurable results
Preferred
MBA or an advanced degree with equivalent experience preferred
