Performs radiation therapy treatment planning
Performs QA procedures on all medical radiation devices and radiation safety surveys, which satisfy ACR certification requirements
Responsible for maintaining, scheduling, creating meeting minutes and oversight for the Radiation Safety Committee
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in a related field
Registered Therapeutic Radiation Physicist - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA)
Certified Specialist in Therapeutic Radiology Physics - American Board of Radiology (ABR)
Must meet all requirements as outlined in Title 32 Energy Chapter II IEMA (Radiation)
1+ years of work experience
Ability to take and analyze careful radiation measurements on the therapeutic and diagnostic x-ray machines
