Fleet Manager - MPP

Responsibilities

Ensure all vehicles remain up to date on maintenance, including oil changes, inspections, repairs, and state safety requirements

Track and complete vehicle registrations, inspections, and compliance documentation

Coordinate with preferred service centers (VA Autocare, Jiffy Lube, AAA)

Communicate with drivers, direct managers, and dispatch regarding vehicle downtime or repair needs

Be available for emergency situations (accidents, breakdowns) and follow company safety protocols

Conduct driving tests and ensure new technicians receive properly stocked and prepared vehicles

Promote and enforce safe driving practices

Respond to accidents, gather information, ensure driver safety, contact police, arrange towing, and complete follow-up documentation

Review accident footage and investigate incidents in coordination with HR

Monitor GPS, cameras, and tracking systems to ensure continuous functionality

Use Enterprise Fleet, ServiceTitan, and Samsara for: Truck status & maintenance tracking, Citations, mileage, registrations, Truck locating, Inventory downloads, Safety reporting, Accident footage review

Ensure all trucks maintain proper stock levels and required equipment

Perform routine truck counts to ensure inventory accuracy aligns with ServiceTitan replenishment

Communicate and collaborate with key internal partners including: Plumbing, Drains, Electrical teams, HVAC, Ducts, Install teams, Parts Department, Warehouse, Accounting, HR

Track upcoming deadlines such as monthly safety inspections and future fleet orders

Proactively identify and address recurring issues (battery failures in winter, dead key fobs, etc.)

Maintain organized records of maintenance, incidents, costs, and vehicle performance

Required

Experience in fleet management, logistics, automotive operations, or related field

Strong communication and coordination abilities

Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to emergencies

Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety standards

Familiarity with fleet-related software (Enterprise Fleet, ServiceTitan, Samsara) preferred

Preferred

Experience working with a high-volume service fleet (100+ vehicles)

Knowledge of trades industry operations (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drains)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
