Electronics/ Electro-Mech Assembler

Responsibilities
Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under close supervision
Assemble units such as power supplies, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and PC boards
Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot air techniques
Install and remove discrete components (transformers, resistors, capacitors, etc.) on printed circuit assemblies
Assemble connectors, perform interface gage measurements, and shrink marker sleeves and strain reliefs
Check mechanical length of cables and ensure compliance with specifications
Read and interpret documents and drawings accurately
Lift and move parts, bins, and boxes as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)
Preferred
Soldering experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification
Basic math skills and 1–2 years of related experience
