Responsibilities
Recruit, onboard, and mentor new Systems Engineers within the region
Maintain a positive and growth-oriented team culture through training and support
Manage HR responsibilities for the Systems Engineers including performance reviews and expense management
Provide technical support and guidance for complex evaluations and customer challenges
Ensure ongoing channel partner enablement and foster relationships with technical teams
Act as a flexible resource for the team, covering for team members when needed
Serve as a technical escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales issues in the territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a pre-sales Senior Systems Engineer
1-2 years of managerial experience leading teams
Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and/or cloud markets
Experience with public cloud offerings, SaaS, and consumption models
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to manage HR responsibilities for direct reports
Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and channel partners
Preferred
Experience working with government entities, particularly state and local organizations, is highly desirable
