Responsibilities

Support production program activities, including the interfacing with the production staff, understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining processes

Support failure analysis efforts including running tests in support of troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures

Work with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of protégés, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events

Required

An active Secret clearance is required for this position

ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science and at least 8 years' experience

Ability to create and review systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts

Ability to allocate requirements to engineering disciplines

Ability to create system test plans, procedures and reports

Understanding of product design, development, integration, and verification

Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations internally and with customers

Ability to monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures

Ability to manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings

Ability to support proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities

Ability to support test equipment requirements, design, and validations activities

Development and production of a complex electro/mechanical system including requirements development, integration, test, verification & validation and qualification

Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior leadership, and other functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, along with Project Management Officers

Excellent organizational & time management skills

Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)

Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
