Responsibilities

Assist the Head of Sports Science and Nutrition with the collection, storage and analysis of player data and provide effective feedback to key stakeholders
Apply data driven methodologies to evaluate athlete performance
Support the club-wide monitoring strategies by tracking individual player data and helping manage workloads to mitigate injury risk and optimize player health, well-being and readiness
Utilize a variety of technologies to quantify internal and external training load and assess player responses to training
Conduct in-house projects to evaluate the effectiveness of performance interventions

Required

Enrolled in an Exercise Science undergraduate or higher program or just completed
Experience maintaining databases and working with athlete monitoring systems
Knowledge of sports science, strength and conditioning and data science principles
Familiarity with data visualization tools and coding (Tableau, R, Python, SQL)
Proficiency in common sports science technologies and software (GPS systems & VALD equipment)
Willingness to learn and receive feedback
Creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic personality
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to communicate information in a manner that is easily understood by a range of audiences
Ability to collaborate successfully as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team to solve performance problems
