They are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to perform EHV technical design studies and provide mentorship to junior engineers while working on detailed EMT analysis and project support.

Responsibilities

Performing EHV technical design studies
Utilize any software to perform the analysis and write detailed reports
Perform detailed EMT analysis for the study work
Provide guidance to younger staff
Assist with project conceptual development
Support during design
Equipment selection
Assistance with operating issues after COD
Assist with apparatus ratings and specifications development for transformers, circuit breakers, switches, cables, series capacitors, dynamic var devices

Qualification

Required

MSEE
15+ year performing most of the studies listed above
Expert user of PSCAD
expert user of positive sequence/phasor domain tools
Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future

Preferred

PhD is desirable
knowledge of ATP and EMTP-RV a plus
a professional engineers license is preferred but not required
