Responsibilities

DPA Escalations & Negotiations: Own escalations and negotiate complex data protection terms with priority clients; align with the Global Data Privacy Policy

Process & Procedures (Services): Develop and enhance GDPO processes for client engagements (contracting, risk reviews, incident readiness) in partnership with privacy operations and our global security office

Advanced Training & Education: Lead training on evolving privacy laws and GDPO requirements for client leadership, account teams, and operations

Senior-Leader Coordination: Partner with agency executives and GDPO leadership on client-facing privacy strategy and governance

Program Governance: Drive compliance measurement and reporting for services and marketing initiatives; mentor legal counsel on negotiation playbooks and standards

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with a state bar

Minimum of 10 years practicing law, and minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy law, preferably with experience in the digital advertising industry

In-depth knowledge of privacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex legal issues and provide practical solutions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex privacy concepts to non-legal stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Personable, team player and willing to take on new challenges as both the privacy landscape and the Groupe's services evolve
