Responsibilities
Support development of a comprehensive 10-year strategic business plan and a 5-year capital budget for the electric distribution sector
Provide support for essential regulatory submissions
Recommend and implement best-in-class reporting methodologies to enhance effectiveness
Create documentation supporting strategic insights provided to senior leadership and key stakeholders regarding capital portfolio performance
Lead design and execute innovative collaboration strategies with stakeholders to foster engagement and alignment
Promote continuous improvement in capital planning processes to boost efficiency and achieve excellence in performance
Support optimization of the capital portfolio through the use of a digital capital planning tool (Copperleaf), ensuring the selection of value-maximizing projects based on standardized prioritization criteria
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required
7+ years of financial budgeting and analysis experience required
Utility experience required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
Valid driver's license required
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience with advanced reporting tools such as PowerPlan and SAP
Copperleaf experience preferred
