Responsibilities

Inspect product to customer purchase order (P.O.), engineering requirements and the production planning
Record inspection results using basic inspection measuring methods and equipment (calipers, micrometer, pin gages, etc)
Monitor and review Customer Supplier Quality Requirements to ensure compliance
Ensure that First Article Inspections (FAI) are performed per applicable time period, work orders and documented per customer and company procedures
Ensure all defects are recorded on proper form and sent to the MRB crib for segregation and disposition
Maintain Six S (6 S) training
Comply with Perfekta’s Policies and Procedures per Perfekta, Inc. Employee Handbook
Notify immediate supervisor of any safety hazard you see in your work area
Notify immediate supervisor of ideas that you think would help improve your department or company

Required

One year experience as inspector (or three (3) years in manufacturing) in a related position
Ability and desire to learn aircraft/aerospace level three receiving inspection duties and responsibilities within a year
Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
Entry level blueprint reading knowledge required and intermediate to expert blueprint training must be obtained within one year
Must have ability to read applicable customer/ Perfekta documents with or without corrective lenses
Must be able to lift thirty (30) pounds or more on a regular basis
Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time
Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
