The HVAC Data Center Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems in data centers, ensuring optimal operation of cooling infrastructure to protect critical IT equipment.

Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including CRAC/CRAH units, Airewall’s, chillers, condensers, & pumps
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedule to ensure reliable system performance
Replace filters, and other mechanical components as needed
Respond quickly to mechanical equipment failures or temperature excursions to protect IT assets
Escalate critical events to management and assist in root cause analysis after incidents
Qualification
Required
Technical school preferred
EPA Section 608 Certification - Universal
Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, chilled water systems, and air distribution systems
Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers facilities
Experience with Liebert, Stulz, Airedale Or other precision cooling equipment
