Military Fellowship Program: Project Coordinator

Responsibilities

Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
Break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes
Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams
Assist with schedule management
Ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
Help prepare budgets
Analyze risks and opportunities
Monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation
Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
Work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks
Use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports

Required

Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 2+ years of relevant experience
A higher level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Fundamental MS Office Skills
Ability to manage time effectively
Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance
