Responsibilities

Work closely with the Director of Sales to uncover and close opportunities with key accounts within the National Accounts group
Provide feedback, industry knowledge, and specific recommendations to Arthrex Headquarters on programs, policies, products, emerging technologies, prices etc
Build relationships with new Equine National Accounts
Maintain strong equine customer relationships; seek new and increased business opportunities
Act as the first and single point of customer contact for negotiation processes
Gather information, analyze, and develop business strategies concerning dynamics that may affect the business relationship, such as changes in customer ownership or new affiliations, current market share and targets of opportunities for new growth, customers’ changing requirements, and competitors' strengths, and weaknesses
Consult with customers to create profitable business strategies, taking into account such factors as customers’ vision and goals, current results by category/program and compliance with Arthrex Vet Systems programs and services
Communicate procedural expertise, product understanding, and competitive market knowledge to sales and Veterinary product teams
Provide updates on competitive products and procedures and input on strategies to combat competition
Recommend ideas and promotions for increasing sales of new and existing products
Work closely with the Director of Sales and Finance Department on the formulation of regional/agency quotas
Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet sales objectives
Travel up to 50% annually to National Accounts and spend appropriate time in the Naples, FL office as suggested by the Director

Required

Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of sales experience with Arthrex or other companies, with a focus on Equine Veterinary products, required
Willing to be hands-on with cadaver specimens
Competent while working with various orthopedic procedures, including but not limited to, arthroscopy, CCL reconstruction, arthroplasty, etc
Knowledgeable when working with different functions and effectively coordinating their activities to achieve desired results
Excellent listening skills, including the ability to identify and isolate the customer's concerns or objections
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong relationship-building attributes
Microsoft Office, Cognos, Salesforce

Preferred

MBA preferred
3 years of people management experience preferred
