Responsibilities
Develop a compliance-first architecture roadmap guiding product teams to build solutions aligned with regulatory and governance standards
Drive data modeling standards, review critical designs to ensure robust, scalable, and well-governed data structures
Embed regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) and security principles into platform design
Mentor engineers on data modeling, optimization techniques, schema design, and best practices for high-volume data systems
Qualification
Required
8+ years of progressive experience across data architecture, data engineering, or platform architecture
Broad command of the modern data stack, spanning AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift), workflow orchestration (Airflow), and transformation frameworks (dbt)
Strong data-modeling expertise across SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and performance optimization
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally across geographies and time zones
