Responsibilities
Manage the path to launch testing operations in multiple new cities within a region
Lead the ongoing execution of validation requirements by vendors for driving operations
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet critical timelines and exceed Waymo new market launch standards to achieve operational success
Deep dive existing standards and processes to identify defects or improvement opportunities
Structure launch milestones and dependencies, assign roles and responsibilities, and establish communication channels
Proactively identify and reduce business-critical risks and dependencies
Compile, manage, and report on validation metrics for the region
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in a combination of project management, operations management or program management at a high-growth tech company
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive continuous improvement in operations
Proven ability manage budgets and resources, and establish and maintain relationships with internal & external vendors
Preferred
Familiarity with launching operations with new infrastructure in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation is a plus
Experience in risk and change management
