Responsibilities

Execute month-end close activities related to inventory, WIP, COGS, and manufacturing operations

Prepare and document manual journal entries to reflect production, usage, receipts, adjustments, and timing corrections when system data is incomplete

Maintain and reconcile inventory-related accounts, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

Rebuild or validate reconciliations where underlying documentation is incomplete or inconsistent

Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Engineering/R&D, and Finance to validate data and understand cost drivers

Required

5+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, or inventory accounting

Experience performing reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close work in manual or semi-manual environments

Comfort working with production logs, spreadsheets, ad-hoc data extracts, and non-automated workflows

Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)

Ability to work independently, prioritize under tight timelines, and navigate ambiguous or evolving processes

Experience in manufacturing, construction products, hardware, aerospace, or engineering-driven environments
