Responsibilities

Develop analytics products, dashboards, and tools that GTM leverages to deliver expert level payment optimization sessions to Stripe customers
Maintain analytics assets owned by the team, such as metric definitions, technical documentation and query banks
Build data pipelines that power our user insights
Act as a resource to the team communicating the nuance and technical complexity of payments performance adjacent datasets

Qualification

SQLPythonGitData visualizationAnalytics experiencePayments ecosystem knowledgeTechnical documentationMaster's degreeProject managementCommunication skills

Required

3+ years experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence Engineering, or Technical Customer Advisory roles
Proficiency in SQL, Python and Git
Expertise in data visualization and using data insights to make recommendations
Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with great attention to detail
Ability to clearly communicate results and drive impact

Preferred

Experience partnering with GTM and Sales teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and actionable reporting
Working understanding of development processes and best practices like engineering standards, code reviews, and testing
Familiarity with the payments ecosystem and how merchants optimize payment processing (e.g., authorization rates, authentication success rates, managing transaction fraud, and reducing network costs)
Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field
