The Sales and Customer Success Manager will drive growth by expanding adoption among new Scouting Units and improving fundraising performance across an assigned portfolio through a combination of outbound sales and relationship-focused account management.
Responsibilities
Reach out to volunteer leaders by email, text, and phone to spark interest and drive new adoption of Trail’s End
Support and grow your portfolio of Units through regular communication, helpful coaching, and simple, actionable best practices
Equip Units with clear insights, best practices, and data-driven recommendations to improve fundraising results
Build and maintain a steady pipeline of new Unit prospects, guiding them through onboarding and activation
Leverage pre-approved materials and create custom content when needed to support outreach
Maintain accurate activity, engagement, and performance tracking in HubSpot
Represent Trail’s End with positivity and purpose, always keeping Scouts at the center of the work
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, customer success, or account management
Strong communicator across phone, email, and written outreach
Comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot
Able to juggle a high-volume portfolio while staying organized and on top of details
Self-driven, adaptable, and energized by a fast-moving environment
Energetic, mission-driven mindset with a passion for youth development and leadership
Preferred
Experience working with volunteer-led organizations, especially in youth or nonprofit sectors
Understanding of Scouting or similar youth programs
Comfortable reviewing performance data and turning insights into simple next steps
