Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and analysis of all corporate financial statements. Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Develop, implement, and continuously improve accounting policies, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Direct accounts payable and receivable functions. Oversee all account reconciliations and the maintenance of accurate financial records
Conduct in-depth financial data analysis to identify trends and present strategic insights and recommendations to the executive management team
Lead the annual budget preparation process and manage financial forecasting activities
Assist in managing and mentoring a team of junior and senior accountants, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and our international subsidiaries, utilizing your bilingual skills to support corporate business objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or an equivalent field
CPA certification is required
Bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin) is required
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or above role
Strongly prefer prior management experience at a medium-sized company with over 500 employees
Proven experience in a SaaS, technology, or chain restaurant company is preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Exceptional ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to commute to New York, NY 10016
Ability to relocate to New York, NY 10016 before starting work
Preferred
Master's degree in accounting or a related field
Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems
