Lead Engineer - Electrical Engineering

Responsibilities

Participates in the R&D activities within the unit and across global R&D projects within ITR
Identifies manufacturing/engineering deficiencies, proposes solutions and improvements
Responsible for the electrical design of the products manufactured or designed in USC/ITR
Ensures that all technical documentation, issued by the Engineering/R&D group, required for the manufacturing and sales of the products (drawings, bill of materials, instructions, manuals, material specifications etc.) is prepared in high quality, efficiently and in a timely manner
Leads the development of new products, improvement, and customization of existing products. Works closely with unit and ITR involved in the development process
Provides technical support in the resolution of field problems. Provides technical guidance to suppliers, working closely with Supply Chain and Sourcing. Supports manufacturing on a daily basis
Supports the sales effort in the preparation of proposals and quotations, and the review of non-standard requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Minimum 3 years' experience in Medium to High Voltage apparatus engineering
