Responsibilities

Performs a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments such as determining experimental protocols and preparation of specimens and cultures
Prepares reports of findings subsequent to compilation and analyzation
Oversees specimen inventory
Develops documentation for publication; crafts manuscripts and grant proposals
Assist with histological analysis of mouse tissues, microscopy, and biochemical assays (e.g., Western Blotting, ELISA, PCR, ddPCR, NULISA)
Support in vitro and in vivo experiments, maintain transgenic mouse colonies including husbandry and genotyping, and process human and mouse samples for studies
Responsibilities include database entry, training in cell sorting, Next Gen sequencing, transcriptional profiling, histology techniques, and confocal microscopy

Required

Bachelor's Degree
2 years of experience
Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement
Perform a variety of independent laboratory work and experiments
Determine experimental protocols and preparation of specimens and cultures
Prepare reports of findings subsequent to compilation and analyzation
Oversee specimen inventory
Develop documentation for publication; craft manuscripts and grant proposals
Assist with histological analysis of mouse tissues, microscopy, and biochemical assays (e.g., Western Blotting, ELISA, PCR, ddPCR, NULISA)
