Responsibilities
Automate and improve processes for direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting processes
Support tools like: Corptax, Oracle HFM, Power Platforms and SharePoint
Build and maintain workflows in Alteryx and Snowflake for tax analysis
Identify improvements as well as implementing new technology to streamline tax processes
Document solutions and improved processes to enhance knowledge sharing, drive efficiency, and business continuity
Liaise with Finance, Accounting, IT and other business departments to implement tax software and drive improvement initiatives
Stay current on tax software updates, new features and recent technology resources such as AI and its utilization in Tax operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business required with a Tax Technology background
Minimum of 3-5 years of tax technology, tax accounting, and/or tax compliance in a large corporate environment
Experience in supporting Tax operations, process improvements, and managing data sets
Solid knowledge and experience on: Corptax, Alteryx, Snowflake, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate and Oracle HFM preferred
Working knowledge of data analytics
Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult tax technology challenges, with a can-do attitude and constantly looking for better ways to do the job
Ability to engage in critical thinking, analysis, and problem solving as well as ability to take on new challenges
Must be proactive, self-started and self-motivated
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well with their direct manager as well as all levels within the organization
Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Solid knowledge and experience on: Corptax, Alteryx, Snowflake, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate and Oracle HFM preferred
Certifications in tax software platforms or data tools preferred (Corptax, OneSource, etc.)
Spanish proficiency (spoken and written) is a plus
