Sr. Electronics Engineer
Fluidra North America is looking for a Sr. Electronics Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing electronic hardware circuits for new product development and providing engineering support for existing products.

Responsibilities
The Sr. Electronics Engineer designs electronic hardware circuits for new product development and provides sustaining Engineering support to existing products
Strong experience in analog / digital circuit design and embedded hardware
Excellent circuit and system troubleshooting skills, schematic capture / PCB layout (Preferably using Altium)
Produces engineering documentation (requirements, performance specs, safety/test procedures)
Provides support in addressing production and warranty issues concerning current products
Redesigns existing products to meet revised requirements
Researches and identifies suitable replacements for obsolete electronic components
Combines broad knowledge of design skills, engineering principles, manufacturing techniques, and analytical skills to address field problems and proposes corrective actions
Writes reports, conducts evaluations, and analyzes data
Responsible for following quality system procedures
Assists in procedure development when required
Ensures product quality and takes appropriate action when non-conformances are identified
Keeps accurate records as required

Qualification
Required

Provides support to Production
7+ years of experience in the design and maintenance of embedded control hardware. Prefer experience and involvement in all facets and phases of product development from inception to production, and obsolescence
Experience with the following components and systems: Micro-controllers (ESP32, PIC, ST, NXP microcontrollers and microprocessors) and their associated development tools (IDE, compiler, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: serial communications (RS-485, I2C, SPI, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: wireless communication (Wi-Fi, BLE, Thread, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: familiarity with RF (PCB layout, shielding, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: sensors and transducers (temperature, pressure, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: keypads (membrane, discrete, matrices, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: analog-to-digital conversion
Experience with the following components and systems: displays (LED, LCD, 7-segment, alphanumeric, graphical)
Experience with the following components and systems: peripheral drivers (indicators, relays, triacs, etc.)
Experience with the following components and systems: power supplies and batteries
Experience in the design and manufacture of electronic assemblies and their application to consumer products
Familiarity with requirements of safety agencies (UL, FCC, etc.)
Ability to use sophisticated electronic test equipment
Ability to use office and technical software applications
Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, colleagues, management, and vendors
Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
Strong mechanical aptitude
As a key member of the Electronics Engineering Team, the Sr. Electronics Engineer may be required to travel periodically. The travel requirement will be determined by the activities of the projects
