Responsibilities
Serving as independent functioning Survey Field Crew Chief
Calculating survey staking points from engineering and construction drawings and specifications
Utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation to convert field data into deliverables to be used during the design process
Interpreting historical survey data, property deeds and other title information, along with other evidence to establish parcel boundary lines and landnets to be used in design and easement creation
Utilizing survey data collectors to operate survey instrumentation for collecting data for platmaking, construction, land and other surveys
Coordinating and communicating with engineering and construction team members
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
5 years' related experience in the survey field working under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Successful applicant should be on the path to licensure required if not currently licensed (FLS exam passed or scheduled, etc.)
Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future
Preferred
Professional Land Surveyor Licenses
CST Certification also preferred if not licensed
