GE Vernova is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Technician responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of system-controlled robotics and equipment. The role involves diagnosing problems, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying machine tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine strategy to repair and rebuild

Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order parts

Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, facilities including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws including lubrication fluids and coolant

Apply knowledge of components, devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related mechanics including various machine tools, measurement devices, lathes

Required

Associate's Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with a Military Machinist Training Course

Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends

Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Preferred

Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role

Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamental and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO)
