Responsibilities
Field work to observe environmental conditions and collect data
Operates computer mapping software
Researches environmental conditions through web-based sites and agency file review
Tabulates and analyzed environmental data
Researches regulatory and permitting requirements
Prepares draft reports and draft permit applications
Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced professional
Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data, recognizes discrepancies in results, and follows operations through a series of related steps or processes
Documents findings and maintains project records
Prepares graphical representations and maps of environmental conditions
Collect samples and utilize field measurement equipment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Geology field
0-3 years of environmental assessment and remediation experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Domestic travel may be required; the frequency of travel is contingent on workload and project demands
