The role involves developing tools to enhance semiconductor manufacturing and performance study, contributing to high-fidelity modeling and numerical simulations.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with industry leaders to develop groundbreaking tools that accelerate semiconductor manufacturing and device performance study at the most advanced nodes (logic 2/1.4/1.0/0.7nm and beyond, 3D NAND/DRAM, and 3DIC)
Deliver significant performance gains over conventional approaches, essential for supporting high-volume manufacturing and the agile turnaround times our customers demand
Qualification
Required
PhD (or MS + 3+ years of research/industry experience) in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.)
Expertise in scientific computing: Numerical algorithms (FEM/FD/FVM), eigen/linear/PDE solvers, convex optimization, computational geometry, computer graphics
High-performance computing: Distributed processing, OpenMPI, GPU acceleration, CUDA ecosystems
Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python, Code Copilot
Leveraging AI/ML to accelerate problem solving processes
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling complex computational challenges
Ability to estimate software development tasks accurately and deliver on schedule
Open and collaborative team mindset
Preferred
Basic semiconductor process (photolithography, etch, deposition, CMP) and semiconductor device physics
