JANUS Research Group is seeking a highly qualified Logistician Subject Matter Expert to manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles within the Department of Defense (DOD) environment. The ideal candidate will oversee logistics program activities and provide strategic guidance, ensuring effective logistical management and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

Logistical Management: Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination of samples and minimization of obsolescence

Program Development: Develop and implement logistics program activities, including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), technical documentation, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM), and provisioning

Problem Resolution: Resolve logistics problems and compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities

Cost Analysis: Perform system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies to inform decision-making

Support Activities: Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations

Technology Advancement: Stay informed of logistics technology advances and government policies, applying them to improve logistics processes

Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff from project inception to conclusion
