The Los Angeles Dodgers are seeking a Public Relations Intern to assist with external communications and media relations. The intern will write content, support media interactions, and help manage information distribution during games and events.

Responsibilities

Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts

Assist broadcasters, media, and visiting club public relations representatives before, during and after games

Assist with writing of daily game notes and team publications

Compile daily clips and stat packs on gamedays

Distribute information to on-site media, which may include game notes, press releases and information guides

Assist with the team’s photo and media archives

Answer phone calls and respond to requests and inquiries in a knowledgeable manner

Assist Public Relations and other departments with special events as needed

Perform related duties as assigned by PR staff

Other duties as assigned

Required

Strong knowledge of baseball

Ability to interact professionally with media, players, and other staffers

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop and other Adobe systems

Ability to work on a baseball schedule, which includes all homestands and other holidays

Must be a rising sophomore, junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree OR are currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution

Must be available to live and work in Los Angeles or your assigned office location throughout the duration of your 3-month program during the summer months

Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Passionate about working for a professional sports team
