Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding, approval, and matching to purchase orders
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs for multiple currencies
Perform daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliation tasks
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in daily bookkeeping and accounts payable tasks to increase efficiency
Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payments and invoices
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including posting journal entries and preparing account reconciliations
Maintain organized and compliant financial records
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of proven experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable role
Process supplier invoices, including proper coding, approval, and matching to purchase orders
Perform daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain pristine records to ensure the reliability of the general ledger
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs for multiple currencies
Perform bank reconciliation tasks
Assist with month-end closing, including posting journal entries and preparing account reconciliations
Maintain a high level of accuracy and diligently follow established procedures (Scalable & Trusted behaviors)
Take complete ownership of assigned tasks to ensure they are completed accurately and on time (Empowered behavior)
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and learn quickly (Ingenius behavior)
Maintain organized and compliant financial records
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
Experience working in a remote setup
Knowledge of Google Workspace
Basic understanding of multi-currency transactions
