Urology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant

They are seeking a Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a dedicated team environment.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
Diagnose and treat residents with urology conditions, diseases, and infections
Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
DEA License
CPR BCLS/BLS certified
Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
A year of experience in Urology
Must have great organizational and time management skills
Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
Preferred
Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
