They are seeking a Director of Accounting / Controller to oversee accounting operations, compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting, while also driving process improvements across the business.

Responsibilities
Lead and continuously improve all accounting operations, including monthly close, financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliations
Implement scalable processes and controls suitable for a high-growth, multi-entity environment
Partner with the Director of Finance and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives, budgeting, and financial planning
Oversee regulatory compliance, tax strategy, and external audits
Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and financial performance metrics
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing accounting team
Evaluate current systems (e.g., NetSuite) and identify opportunities for automation and optimization
Provide accounting insight and operational alignment in areas such as revenue cycle management, payroll, and vendor management
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for both internal stakeholders and investor audiences
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Director of Accounting or Controller in a high-growth, multi-entity environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting
Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Demonstrated ability to implement scalable processes and controls
Experience in leading and developing high-performing accounting teams
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner cross-functionally
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare or technology sectors
CPA or equivalent professional certification
Experience with tax strategy and external audits
Familiarity with revenue cycle management and vendor management
