Responsibilities

Serve as staff advisor to matters relating to civilian and military workforce development management
Lead a subordinate staff of Workforce Development Specialists and advises or guides leadership and key managers in making the most effective decisions that support the workforce management and development initiatives
Advise personnel on a variety of substantive procedural and policy matters pertaining to a broad range of workforce development functions
Exercise full authority for management and operation decisions related to information administrative management requirements that must be responsive to a world-wide mission

Required

One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative functions relating to civilian and military workforce development management
Collaborating with Installation management officials and staff to gather data needed to develop budgetary resources and requirements
Reviewing work of subordinates and monitoring accomplishments that support workforce management and development initiatives
Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
Must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12)
