Follows up on professional claims and zero pay EOBs for assigned provider practice locations to obtain payment
Researches and writes appeals on denied accounts within department guidelines. Resubmits applicable claims within required timeframe
Responds and resolves insurance company requests for information and works to identify issues and bring to management’s attention. Resolves patient inquiries and complaints
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
2 years Revenue Cycle experience
Preferred
Bachelors Degree, or greater will count as 1 year of additional experience
CRCR - Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
