Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and secure new customers within assigned territory
Effectively position Quest’s Data Governance, AI Readiness, and Database Management solutions to solve business challenges
Develop relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other senior decision-makers
Manage complex sales cycles, from initial prospecting to deal closure, leveraging a consultative sales approach
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across multiple states within the Eastern U.S
Work with key channel and reseller partners to expand market reach and drive revenue growth
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs in data governance and AI readiness
Qualification
Required
10 years of B2B software sales experience, with a track record of exceeding quota
Experience selling solutions in Data Governance, AI Readiness, Database Management, or Enterprise Software
Strong knowledge of data, compliance, cloud, and AI trends
Proven ability to sell to large Strategic accounts with a focus on C-level and IT leadership
Experience managing a multi-state territory with both direct and channel sales approaches
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS and hybrid software environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Preferred
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
