Australia Account Executive (Remote – Australia)
VetRec is an enterprise-grade AI veterinary assistant used by tens of thousands of veterinary professionals across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. They are seeking an Australia Account Executive to lead new business growth and build strong relationships across veterinary practices, focusing on consultative selling and closing new practice accounts across the ANZ region.

Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, evaluation, and close
Build and manage a strong pipeline of Australian veterinary practices, ensuring consistent monthly and quarterly performance
Conduct tailored demos highlighting how VetRec can immediately improve clinical efficiency and workflow accuracy
Proactively follow up with trial users, decision-makers, and practice managers to drive conversion
Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close new business in alignment with VetRec’s pricing and sales strategy
Generate new leads through outbound outreach, conferences, webinars, partnerships, and industry networks
Qualify inbound interest from practices evaluating AI solutions
Track progress using CRM best practices and maintain accurate forecasts
Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and a strong early experience for new customers
Share market insights with Product and Engineering to help refine features aligned with Australian practice workflows
Partner with BD and Marketing on campaigns, events, and targeted outreach initiatives
Visit veterinary practices across the Australia for in-person demos, relationship-building, and closing conversations
Represent VetRec at key Australian veterinary conferences, including AVA events, regional association meetings, and continuing education gatherings
Participate in roadshows, practice presentations, and live product sessions
Act as the voice of prospective Australian customers, sharing insights on purchasing behavior, competitive landscape, and adoption barriers
Provide continuous feedback to improve sales processes, messaging, and product-market fit in the region
Qualification
Required
3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, medical, veterinary, or clinical technology
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
Strong ability to run consultative sales cycles and guide prospects through evaluation and implementation decisions
Excellent presentation skills, including comfort running live demos
Confidence in engaging with practice owners, managers, and clinicians
A proactive, organized, self-directed work style suited to a fast-growing startup
Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Australia
Preferred
Experience selling into veterinary, healthcare, or medical environments
Familiarity with workflows inside veterinary practices or clinical settings
Comfort with CRM systems and modern sales tooling
