Responsibilities
Lead cloud architecture and cloud engineering efforts, with a strong emphasis on AWS platforms
Design and implement AI/ML systems, including end-to-end lifecycle components:
Model development
Training and optimization
Inference deployment
Monitoring and maintenance
Develop ML pipelines, model deployment workflows, and MLOps/DevOps integrations
Work with Amazon SageMaker (experience with SafeMaker/SageMaker is a strong plus)
Support system security and networking, particularly within classified environments
Implement data engineering best practices and manage data lifecycle strategy for AI/ML workloads
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED plus 12 years of general systems engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering or related technical discipline plus 7 years of systems engineering experience
Master's degree in a qualified engineering or related technical discipline plus 5 years of systems engineering experience
PhD in a qualified engineering or related technical discipline plus 3 years of systems engineering experience
Preferred
Experience with SafeMaker/SageMaker is a strong plus
