Infrastructure Automation Engineer

The Tatitlek Corporation provides Information Technology Operations and Maintenance Support for the BEP’s Chief Information Officer Directorate. Responsibilities

Develop automation solutions using Azure ARM & Logic Apps, as well as perform process automation using PowerShell, python and GUI runbooks
Develop Desired State Configuration (DSC) or equivalent baseline runbooks, automation of inspection, validation and implementation of DSC for resources such as servers and cloud resources of configuration items including but not limited to security policies, configuration or drift from desired state
Identify opportunities for automation, collaborate with teams to determine highest value tasks, and implement automation solutions to reduce manhours on routine tasks
Responsible for supporting an engineering effort in planning, designing, testing, building, implementing, deploying, and transitioning Information Technology (IT) solutions to meet various customer requirements
Improving efficiency, accuracy, and speed in business processes, ultimately leading to increased productivity and reduced costs
Responsible for the performance, equipment reliability, uptime percentage, design, development, and optimization of automation systems, and processes to improve production efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure high-quality outputs
Monitor and report on network utilization, resource consumption, and performance metrics to optimize software performance. Will provide customers with seamless transitions to leading edge solutions which meet security requirements
Provide operations and maintenance for development and test environments and provide specialized support for mission specific systems and applications
Work closely with product, operations, and engineering teams within the organization to understand requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions
Continuously research and explore new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the overall testing process

Required

At least four (4) years' experience of large enterprise infrastructure and software automation utilizing various automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) AWS Cloud Formation, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.)
Experience in multiple programming languages (e.g., Powershell, bash, python C#/Rust/Ruby) and a basic understanding of software development methodologies
Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in all phases of engineering, automation, application, and development of multiple operating systems
Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Microsoft Windows Automation with Ansible
H.S Diploma or GED
Must be a US Citizen
Must have a clear background with no derogatory financial history
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government clearance
