Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health Programs who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The role involves developing and overseeing a comprehensive Behavioral Health population health strategy to improve the health and wellness of members while addressing psychosocial, environmental, and financial barriers.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a behavioral health program and maintain a population health strategy for the behavioral health population

Help create and maintain a health plan-wide behavioral health program that addresses behavioral health strategy and population health issues such as mental health and substance abuse disorders

Develop approaches, policies and programs that are based on Texas Children’s goals and objectives and that meet the Health Plan's performance goals

Ensure the delivery of cost effective, community-based and culturally sensitive behavioral health programs including continuous quality improvement monitoring. Collaborate to ensure member outcomes that address our values of quality, service and cost effectiveness

Support Behavioral Health Program staff and collaborate with the Director of Care Coordination and others within the Health Plan
