Responsibilities
Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Station including Multiple Modes of Transportation (MMOT)
Work closely with a partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products
Identify new programs to onboard and integrate
Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams
Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates
Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org
20% travel based on business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
7+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience using one or more of the following CAD technologies: AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp or KeyShot
8+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Automobile Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, or related occupation
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related STEM field
Operations Management/Distribution Center experience with direct management or responsibility for material handling, automation, or other technical projects
Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing
Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet programs
Experience with design and/or implementation automation solutions, such as Conveyors, Sorters, high speed manufacturing and packaging lines, Robotic work cells
Proven technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or program
