Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from lead to close, including prospecting, demos, and multi-threading across district stakeholders
Represent Magma Math at conferences and in-person meetings with district leaders, especially superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors of curriculum, CAOs, and directors of math
Understand how districts are thinking about math achievement, funding, and teacher support, and help them connect those goals to our solution
Collaborate internally with your team, and cross-functionally with district success managers, marketing, and product to share insights and continuously refine our approach
Think like an owner: if you see something broken, you fix it. We’re not just selling software, we’re building a company
Qualification
Required
Demonstrate relentless energy and belief in Magma Math's mission to improve educational opportunities for all
Act proactively, seek ownership, and pursue solutions with urgency
Operate as a self-starter: take initiative and bring solutions to the table before being asked
Be coachable, curious, and always striving to improve your craft
You care deeply about public education and believe math is a gateway to opportunity
You have sales experience (bonus if it is in edtech!)
While we typically hire people with 4+ years of software sales experience, we're open to anyone who can prove they'll succeed in this role
