New Grad, Entry LevelVermont Cider Company is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our team. The role involves the sanitary cleaning of manufacturing equipment and overall housekeeping of the production facility. Candidates who are dependable and show a desire for growth and knowledge will be coached and trained.

Responsibilities
Comply with all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
Disassembly and reassembly of production equipment for cleaning
Perform CIP on beverage processing equipment (filters, hoses, fillers, etc.)
Comply with all Sanitation SOP’s
Perform general housekeeping and custodial work (trash removal etc.)
Obtain fork lift certification
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Must possess basic math and English skills
Must be comfortable with computers
Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment accordingly
Must be able to learn and display a good understanding of the sanitation process and perform such tasks with minimal supervision within 90 days
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs routinely
Frequent bending to manipulate valves or hook up hoses
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be comfortable wearing proper protective equipment while using chemicals
Preferred
Previous machine operator or CIP experience would be a plus
Previous fork lift experience is desired
Obtain fork lift certification
