Mid LevelThunderbird Molding is a full-service custom injection molder offering a variety of services including injection molding and assembly. They are seeking a motivated Account Manager to develop and service accounts, focusing on new business development and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Develop relationships with new and existing accounts to generate quote opportunities
Conduct in-person meetings/presentations with accounts
Follow up and monitor status of quoted programs. Reports required
Continually develop new business, proactively network and prospect for new customer contacts with intention of building long-lasting business relationships
Accurately collect all required information for the Costing Dept so that projects can be quoted in a timely fashion
Continually service all accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and provide assistance where needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience
Extensive travel necessary
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Demonstrated ability to develop a sale from cold call through close
Documented ability to identify and develop targets which fit business plan
Documented success in account management and service
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Able to speak in front of small groups, prepare and present impactful presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Conducts himself/herself with the highest ethical and moral standards
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute
Highly motivated, results driven, and detail oriented
Team player and able to multi-task
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for use in dealing with customers, office staff, production, and vendors
Competitive desire to succeed
Position is required to travel up to 25%
Position is required to be onsite
Preferred
Technical knowledge of injection molding
Sales experience in a manufacturing, new product design environment
Mechanically inclined
Technical background
