Applied Scientist, ML Compiler
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. The Automated Reasoning Group in the AWS Neuron Compiler team is seeking an Applied Scientist to work on optimizing application models in their deep learning compiler stack, focusing on AI and program analysis. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying analyzers for ML compiler stages, while mentoring a team of scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy analyzers for ML compiler stages and compiler IRs
Architect and implement business-critical tooling
Publish cutting-edge research
Mentor a brilliant team of experienced scientists and engineers
Tackle crucial challenges alongside a talented engineering team
Contribute to leading-edge design and research in compiler technology and deep-learning systems software
Qualification
Required
Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
PhD, or Master's degree and 2+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
Preferred
Experience in professional software development
Publication record in automated reasoning or compiler construction
Knowledge of interactive theorem provers such as Lean
Experience with heuristic search, e.g., fuzzers
