Qualification
Required
A terminal degree in computer science or a closely related field is required by the appointment date
Applicants must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and statement of research or creative activities as separate attachments at the time of online application
The research statement should outline the applicant's past contributions and future research plans in quantum computing, game design, cybersecurity, or other areas of computer science, and describe how their work will attract funding, engage students, and enhance the department's strengths
Proof of U.S. citizenship or eligibility for U.S. employment is required before employment
This position requires a criminal background check
Preferred
Applicants with expertise in quantum computing, cybersecurity, or game design will receive special consideration
