Responsibilities
Designing enterprise data platforms and shaping end-to-end data strategies
Developing conceptual and logical data models, ontologies, and lineage documentation
Defining data integration standards and overseeing ingestion from diverse systems
Guiding data engineering teams on best practices in modeling, quality, and performance optimization
Translating complex architecture concepts for business, governance, and technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Experience designing enterprise-scale data ecosystems including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
Strong understanding of Medallion architecture patterns and modern data product design
Ability to develop conceptual and logical data models, ontologies, and lineage documentation
Understanding of data governance principles and metadata management
Experience defining data integration standards and overseeing ingestion from diverse systems (RDBMS, ERP, CAD)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Able to guide data engineering teams on best practices in modeling, quality, and performance optimization
Ability to translate complex architecture concepts for business, governance, and technical stakeholders
U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred
Familiarity with tools like StreamSets and Palantir Foundry
Experience in federal or regulated environments preferred
The ability to obtain clearance is a plus
