Responsibilities

Utilize various tools, including calipers, digital multimeters, force gauges, torque wrenches, and DAQs
Solder, crimp, and read wiring diagrams to support electrical testing and troubleshooting
Execute tests, including setup, teardown, inspections, maintenance, and retrofits, and operate forklifts to move equipment in and out of chambers and lab space
Assemble and prepare test fixtures, including support structures, devices under test, controllers, wire harnesses, and test equipment
Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections to support continuous improvement
Support engineers with instrumentation and data acquisition to ensure accurate and reliable test results
Use power tools, such as bandsaws and drill presses, to fabricate test equipment and fixtures
Perform seat teardowns and inspections to support testing and validation activities

Required

Understands Ohm's Law and its application in electrical testing and troubleshooting
Prioritizes safety in all aspects of work, adhering to established protocols and procedures
Demonstrates strong multitasking, communication, and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Is capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs throughout the day and climbing stairs as needed
Adapts quickly to changing project priorities and tasks, with a flexible and responsive approach
